Hi! My name is Diya Patel and I am a college student in Southern California, passionate about motorsports, and studying Mechanical Engineering. I aim to work with remarkable teams and gain hand-on experience through various projects. This site provides extensive knowledge on all things motorsport for both long-time fans and those just getting into the sport.
Why is it called 107 Pursuit? 107 Pursuit is derived from the 107% rule in Formula 1. Each driver is required to qualify within 107% of the top qualifier’s time of that sector in order to begin a race. For instance, if the top qualifier’s time is 100 seconds, every driver must qualify at least 107 seconds to continue further. It is very rare for drivers to fall under this threshold which I interpret as continuous pursuit of something you enjoy.
Spread the thrill of motorsports!
